Born in Belgium (1961), former wine broker and passionate alpinist, starts in 2001 his winemaking adventure in the Northern valley of Mount Etna (Sicily), regarded today one of Italy’s most fascinating and promising wine area’s. The estate's philosophy is to produce pure expressions and single vineyard wines of Etna through an unconventional mix of ancient, local and organic farming traditions and a modern non-interventionalist, biodynamic approach in the cellar. The estate’s extension is about 23 ha of vineyards, 2 ha of olive growth and total annual production is 120.000 bottles.
