Cantina Kàggera
A brief history
Cantina Kàggera was born in 1970 from the need of a group of winegrowers who, by joining together as a cooperative, founded the structure, over the years the producers have become associated, becoming a reality of considerable size.
The members of the structure are currently about 500 for a total total of about 1500 hectares, all coming from neighboring municipalities such as, in fact, Calatafimi Segesta, Castellammare del Golfo, Alcamo, Buseto Palizzolo, Vita and others, the land of this area is mainly hilly of medium texture and tending to clayey, the winery is located at an altitude of 150 meters above sea level but the vineyards of the contributing members go to higher altitudes, obtaining grapes with important organoleptic characteristics.
