Catarratto DOC Sicilia, the Sicilian indigenous grape by antonomasia. The Catarratto is a white grape and the most cultivated in Sicily. When grown in the lava soils of Mt. Etna, however, it does not have the bitter aftertaste sometimes found in much of the Sicilian continent. Mineral, dry and intense aromas characterize this wine.
