A brief history
The story of Tenuta Palmeri is a typical Sicilian story of integration and cultural contamination. It all began in 2002, out of love for the rocky hills of the Val di Noto and to give voice to the ancient farming practices and wine vocation of the area, by Ueli and Erika Breitschmid-Heiniger, originally from the Lucerne area in Switzerland.
The company's objective is to produce high quality wines and products with a strong territorial identity, investing in eco-sustainable solutions to guarantee the protection of biodiversity and a commitment to the preservation of the landscape and environmental heritage. Our winery is powered entirely by solar energy and uses a modern osmotic irrigation system that rationalises water consumption. We have pioneered an entrepreneurial action aimed at producing healthy, quality wines and obtained organic certification in 2015.
