Tenuta Palmeri

The history of "Palmeri" begins with the Lutri family. Since the 15th century, this noble family has left its mark in southern Sicily. Thus, the "Palazzo Lutri" in the center of Avola still testifies to the legacy of this family. Palmeri was for a long time the summer residence of the family and its lands have always been devoted to agriculture. In 2002 Erika and Ueli Breitschmid-Heiniger were able to acquire Palmeri. Naturally continuing the family tradition of organic viticulture, already practiced successfully in Switzerland .
