Baglio dei EnicotteriRespensaRespensa is set at Bufalefi, one of those districts localized between Noto and Pachino, where the Nero d’ Avola was born and best expresses its organoleptic qualities. This wine is made in purity, aged at least 2 years and kept in oak barriques for at least 8 months; it presents an intense, clear, brilliant and involving ruby red colour with ligh pomegranate reflections. After a short oxygenation it emits intensely and persistently flavours of red fruit such as black-berry, egriot, morello, cherry, ribes, liquorice, coffee, chocolate and spices. The flavour expresses a powerful structure, satisfying, involving, round and balanced, sustained by a noble and elegant smoothness.
