Close your eyes for a moment and let yourself be caressed by the wind and warmed by the sun, breathe the air that surrounds you, full of scents: that of the sea, of the Mediterranean vegetation, of the earth.
You can't go wrong .... You are in Marsala, the "land of wine". No other Italian city can boast such a varied wine production.
With wit and foresight, the English who landed there in the 1700s well realized it and immediately understood that from local grapes it was possible to obtain something very similar to Spanish and Portuguese fortified wines: that wine that then became famous all over the world with the name "Marsala".
In this land so planted with vines, in 1997 our three families of winemakers decided to take over the “Cantine Vinci” brand and thus to start a new adventure that saw them as the architects of the transformation of their grapes into wines of constant and undisputed quality.
Going from simple growers to winemakers was not easy, but the experience handed down from father to son for several generations has served to make us understand from which bunches to obtain the best quality wine, what were the most suitable times for harvesting the grapes, such as the soils that were able to further enhance the physiological and vegetative-productive properties of the different cultivars.
Producing fine grapes has thus become the key principle from which to start to produce wines of excellent quality.
Over time, knowledge, the will to learn and the goal of producing great wines have been recognized and rewarded. So today, the Vinci cellars can boast important awards obtained for the production of wines that, once tasted, can hardly be forgotten.

People say that the “hero of the two worlds”, Giuseppe Garibaldi, came back to Marsala on July the 19th 1862. He was a guest of Count Grignani and from the balcony of his palace at Porta Nuova, he pronounced the faithful words “ROME OR DEATH”. On that occasion the people, who arranged for him impressive celebrations, were particularly fascinated by his personality. 

When the General tasted the famous Marsala wine, already traded all over the world thanks to Benjamin Ingham, he appreciated the “Superiore Dolce” which, from then on, in his honour, would be called GARIBALDI DOLCE.
