Elegant and complex bouquet with hints of red fruits, black cherry, with balsamic and herbal notes.
Full bodied, well-balanced with soft tannins and a lovely wild berry flavor on the palate.
Nero d’Avola and Merlot grapes are grown in Sicilia. After the de-stemming, grapes are gently pressed, keeping the skins intact. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 25-28°C over a period of 10 days. During the maceration, pumping over is carried out to extract the noble compounds from the skins.
After the malolactic fermentation, the blended wine ages in oak barrels before being bottled.
The colour is intense ruby red.
This wine is perfect to pair with roast meat, grilled vegetables, lamb, and rib of beef. The ideal serving temperature is 16-18°C.
