Nose

Growing Conditions
The vineyards are located in western Sicily, near the towns of Vita and Salemi, about 50 km north of Marsala and at 300 m above sea level. The vines are planted east facing, following the vertical trellis system on a sandy and clay rich soil.
Winemaking
After de-stemming and skin maceration at a low temperature (6° - 8°) for about 12 hours, the grapes are soft-pressed and then fermented in temperature controlled stainless-steel tanks (16°– 18° C) for 10 -12 days.
