Our story begins in 1875 when Vito Curatolo Arini decided to build a winery in the middle of his own vineyards. 
From the very beginning, quality of the product and foreign markets were his focus. 
At the beginning of the XIX century, Vito Curatolo Arini was one of the first wineries exporting to the USA and South America. The numerous awards received are testimony of both good entrepreneurial skills and excellent quality of products. Furthermore, in what could be defined a modern way, Vito gave huge importance to packaging - our first label was designed by the well-known architect from Palermo, Ernesto Basile, father of the Sicilian "Liberty Style" or Art Nouveau. 
This label, that we like calling "La Damina", is still currently used for our best Marsalas and admired throughout the world for its originality and elegance. At Vito's death in 1896, the winery passed on to his sons, Francesco, Vito, Leonardo e Giuseppe who carried out their father's hard work building its notoriety. 
In the '70s the company creates a joint venture with the Seagram Group. Assisted by wine experts from the Californian Davis Wine Institute, the winery starts table wine production.
In the '90s with the assistance of Alberto Antonini, the winery started the monovarietal project: modern tasting wines expressing all the unique characters and flavours of our different terroirs.
Today, Vito’s Grandson Roberto and Great Grandson Sergio keep alive the dream together with the new generations Riccardo and Alexandra.

Made of a selected blend of Grillo and Cataratto grapes, it has been a well kept secret for years.

With hints of raisins and vanilla, this wine is dry, full and harmonic on the palate. 

Dark amber wine with hints of dates and apricots. It is
sweet, full, warm and harmonic on the palate with an elegant, dried fruit finish. 

Aged for more than 18 months in Slavonian oak casks following ancient customs and habits. With its dark amber colour and sultana and vanilla aromas, it is full and harmonic on the palate. 

Corto di Passo is an elegant wine with notes of cherry and plum and a hint of white pepper, made from carefully selected grapes coming from central Sicily. 

Intense red wine with purplish highlights. On the nose it has hints of red berry fruits, blueberries and pepper. On the palate it is full with an elegant and spicy finish.

Ruby red with elegant notes of red fruits, vanilla, violet and sandalwood. On the palate it has a long and complex finish of ripe red fruits.

Garibaldi’s favourite, also known as “Galribaldi Dolce”. This wine has notes of dried fruits, figues, almonds, honey and vanilla. On the palate it is very soft and enveloping.

Bright amber colour wine with an intense nose of coconut, toasted bread, apricot jam, honey, vanilla and liquorice. The palate has a very elegant and dry, salty, long finish. Served slightly chilled as an exclusive apertifit pairs perfectly with cured meat, smoked fish or strong aged cheese. 

Refreshing, delicate and elegant wine with floreal and stone fruit notes. 

An expressive red wine with notes of red berries, spices and a hint of black pepper.

With balanced notes of roast almonds, dried figues and sultanas, and with a touch 
of vanilla, it is pleasant and moderately dry on the palate.

An elegant and exotic wine with hints of candied orange peel, citrus fruit, flower scents and honey, typical of this vine variety.

Light straw-yellow wine with greenish highlights, on the nose it has a rich bouquet of tropical fruits, with hints of pink grapefruit and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate it has a balanced structure with a pleasant freshness and a long sapid finish.

Bright straw-yellow wine. On the nose it has a bouquet of white peach, pear and broom. On the palate the hints of herbs perfectly blend with a fragrant and mineral finish.

Light yellow wine with fine green nuances. On the nose it has hints of citrus fruits, tropical fruits, white flowers and almonds. On the palate is has an elegant salty note with a final hint of freshness.

Intense red colour  wine with hints of blackberries, mulberries, cocoa and balsamic scents. On the palate it is complex and enveloping with a surprisingly elegant final note.

An elegant wine with notes of cherries, violets and a hint of white pepper.

Made from selected grapes from Marsala and Mazara del Vallo, it is a full and fruity wine with notes of red berries and green pepper.

Intense ruby red wine. On the nose it has hints of marasca cherry, plum, spices and vanilla. On the palate the soft tannins blend with the fresh and juicy final note.
