Nose
Intense and spicy with hints of red berries and black pepper.
Palate
Round and full on the palate with an elegant and long finish.
Growing Conditions
The Vineyards are located in the western part of Sicily, in the province of Trapani, at approximately 150m above sea level. The vines are planted south facing, following the trellis system on sandy and clay rich soil, using guyot pruning.
Winemaking
After de-stemming and skin maceration for 6 days at 22-24 ° C, the grapes are soft-pressed and then fermented in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks.
Appearance
Deep red with shades of violet.
Food Pairing
Perfect with duck, grilled meat, vegetables and pasta with ragù.
