The small vineyard is nestled in front of the Monte Genuardo Nature Reserve, planted on steep sloped, rocky soil. The highest altitude for Grillo in all of Sicily. The vineyard is characterized by extreme day to night temperature fluctuations and by the 'tramontana' (north wind) that comes over the mountains.
